It’s not dumbo the flying elephant, folks.

Spoonflower’s latest designer fabric competition was to design a Carousel. When I think of Carousel, I often think of dumbo and how he flies. I’ve seen it enough that it scares me. When I read the tag line of “Merry Carousel Winner,” I immediatly though of the ugly Dumbo colors and the movie that scared me as a child. However, when I saw the designers fabric of the Merry Carousel from the spoonflower competition, I fell in love with the beautiful bright colors against the dark background.

Now this is not a fabric to be afraid of. It has the most modern design, so I can see how it is a winner. It is detailed, but not as detailed as the second runner-up.

I can see the use of gradients and color galore. My two most favorite things is how detailed the fabric is, and the color. I absolutely love it!
